Why do you think a programme like AGYLE is important?

"It is both my professional and personal aim to find like-minded people to face global challenges with other participants of the AGYLE programme. By contributing a range of experiences and perspectives, I think we can improve the societal and environmental impact together."

Katherine Kellein is a project lead at Social Impact gGmbH. Her focus and expertise is both the qualification and the support of Western African entrepreneurs. Since 2018, she has been working in a development cooperation project in cooperation with Gesellschaft für Deutsche Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF). Within this time, she has managed the project as well as conducted individual coachings and trainings with entrepreneurs from Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia and Ghana. Furthermore, she spent four months at hapaSpace in Kumasi, Ghana as an executive business consultant on a voluntary basis. Thereby, she supported the management as well as the strategy development for the startup support of the innovation hub. As part of her engagement, she has been offering a mentorship program for the startups in the ecosystem. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and a Masters of Arts degree in Management, Organization and Culture.
