“My vision for the Africa-Germany partnership and cooperation is to create a link between German startups and Africa, particularly my country Senegal. Through this program, I hope to meet German entrepreneurs and work with them on projects that will affect both our countries. For me, the future of cooperation lies in win-win partnerships, and this can only be achieved through joint initiatives that are designed to benefit both countries.“

With an MBA in digital strategy, Anicet Pascal Latyr NGOM is passionate about digital and innovation.
Born and raised in Diourbel, where he did all his schooling before joining the English department at Cheikh Anta Diop University, he soon abandoned literature in favor of digital, driven by passion. Long years of study and professional practice followed, leading him to the position of Digital Manager in a web agency in Dakar.

Convinced of the contribution he could make to his country through digital technology, he began working on innovative projects with a strong social impact. He won first prize at COP21 and first prize in the Dakar innovation competition (Falling Walls Lab) before going on to represent Senegal at the Berlin Innovation Week in 2021, where he was recognized as an "Emerging Talent" by Falling Walls Lab Berlin.

On his return, he was selected to join the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship program of the U.S. State Department, during which he won first prize in the International Business Challenge at the Allen Entrepreneurial Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
